Enter into the beautiful forest that is all around us in a way you never have before with Forest Bathing, drawing from the Japanese Tradition of Shinrin Yoku. This practice is about taking time to slow down and connect with yourself and nature in a way most people don’t take the time to do. In forest bathing, we receive the nourishing, healing and restoring energies of the forest and learn to connect with the more than human world. Join us for a journey into the sunny green forest, drinking it in and receiving deep relaxation as you learn simple practices you can do on your own any time.
We will begin with guided walking meditation in the forest where you will be introduced to many of the local flora and fauna, followed by a moment of stillness in your own personal sit spot of your choosing, we may explore some cross-species communication if you are up for it! and end with a gentle forest tea time made from locally gathered herbs.
With Miku’s guidance, you will have a chance to experience Shinrin Yoku to its fullest, right in your own backyard. Urban Forest Bathing allows each person to connect with nature right where they are and receive the healing benefits of the forest.
